A. We sell many brands of carpeting and rugs, from small local manufacturers to leading global brands. Some of the brands that you might recognize are Shaw, Mohawk and Beaulieu.
A. Yes, installation is available at our full service stores. Many of our stores do not have the full service machines to cut carpet, while some can. Call your local store for more information.
A. Carpet can be installed on many different surfaces in numerous uses and applications. Perhaps most important is identifying how the floor will be used and the amount of traffic it will see. Some instances in which we will not recommend carpet might be exposure to moisture or certain types of carpet in high traffic area.
A. Many of the flooring products which we sell still carry the manufacturers warranty. Typically, but not always, closeout goods, overstocks and goods purchased direct from manufacturers still carry warranty. Salvage goods are sold with the Marden's 30 Day Money Back Guarantee. Ask your salesperson for the warranty specific to the product you are interested in.

Just remember that the key to measuring a floor properly is to measure to the outmost dimensions of the room. Do not try to reduce your measurements by little spaces that jut out into the room. Most measurement mistakes happen from those small spaces being mismeasured.
If you are unsure, draw out a fairly accurate measurement of the room in pencil, write the measurements down and bring them into one of our stores. Our staff is trained to turn those little drawings into professional installations just like magic. Give us a try!
A. Marden's offers a 30 day money back guarantee with receipt. Unfortunately if your carpet has been cut or modified from the time you purchased it, it may not be returnable. On containers of flooring, any unopened containers can be returned within 30 days of purchase, but opened containers and packages of flooring can not be returned.
A. Many of the flooring products we sell come with a factory treated stain protector on them. When you come in to one of our stores, our sales representatives can help you find products with stain protection.
A. In locations where Marden's offers installation, we do offer installation on stairways. Please contact your local store and sales representatives to discuss the details of your installation.
A.Because of our low pricing structure, unfortunately we can not offer those sorts of deals. The reality is that anytime you are getting an offer of whole house installation on flooring of any type, the cost of installation is built in somewhere in your price. We prefer to keep all
pricing up front and in the open.

A. Any of our friendly sale representatives would be happy to spend a few minutes going over the colors with you, including making recommendations and cutting samples for you to take home for comparison.

While some manufacturers have responded to the environmental movement a little differently than others, the manufacturers are all making moves toward more environmentally conscious products. Although we at Marden's don't produce the products, we will make sure our sales staff knows "what is what" when it comes to "green" flooring products because it's important to us, our customers and the environment.
